Royal Boxing and Fitness boasts a generous open space, split centrally between a full weight lifting facility and a traditional boxing gym. Our gym caters to all individuals and fitness levels in a safe, family orientated environment.
Royal Boxing and Fitness is a grassroots boxing and fitness facility established in 2018. Our goal is to provide the Adelaide community with a safe and professional environment in which one can learn the art of boxing and improve ones fitness.
Facility 1. BOXING
All of our boxing coaches are fully qualified, each holding a minimum of 10 years boxing experience competing and coaching.
Our staff lead by example, continually staying up to date not only with the mandatory Australian boxing Qualifications and framework, but also with developing and specialising n unique styles. We make sure all coaches are up to date with current techniques continually attending courses to refine their skills and fitness.
At Royal Boxing and Fitness our house style of boxing is primarily sharp, technical combination striking coupled with swift angular based footwork. We understand a one size fits all approach is not applicable to boxing and encourage all students to add to their natural abilities, creating a style that will best suit them. The gym's boxing area has a raised Mexican boxing ring. Our mat area is a generous 5.5m x 12.5m open space able to cater for large classes, this open plan allows students to develop their movement and footwork in a free range setting. We have an array of different boxing bags catering to all styles and punches, including wallbags, floor to ceiling balls, water bags, teardrop bags an of course the standard heavy bag. Our boxing classes focus on skills, technique and fitness. The art of hitting and not being hit.
Facility 3. WEIGHTS & OUTDOOR AREA
Our weights area is a fully functioning gym, comprising of free weights and pin loaded/cable machines. All new equipment. We have a selection of cardio machines including rowing machines, assault bikes, versa climbers, cross trainers and a treadmil. We also have an extensive array of kettlebells, medicine balls, slam balls, battle ropes, TRXs and other fitness equipment.
Our outdoor area is designed to cater for those who are wanting to do workouts that include tyre flips, sled, sledge hammer exercises, battleropes and many more. There is artificial grass laid out the back making it comfortable for body weighted workouts as well.
